Description: Includes correspondence containing reminiscences about the Ingram family, the Rice Lake area, the Long Lake area, and lumbering; a genealogy written by Ingram and miscellaneous genealogical materials; a World War I letter (1918) to the Ingram family from Rice Lake resident Henry O. Moe and subsequent eulogy after he was killed in action; stock certificates (1902, 1920) of Orrin H. Ingram in the Rice Lake Lumber Company and a history of the company by U.W.-Eau Claire student Terance J. Kirkman; memoirs (1961) of Arthur Hovey relating to the Knapp-Stout & Company, the Rice Lake Lumber Company, and lumbering in general; and excerpts from an autobiography of W. E. McCord regarding lumbering. The bulk of the material dates 1961-1976. Walter Ingram was the son of Orrin Henry Ingram, manager of the Rice Lake Lumber Company, 1910-1919.
